Police arrest 16 accused from various areas of city

KARACHI: The Karachi police in their drive against criminals, nabbed 16 accused from various areas of the city during the last 24 hours.

A statement on Tuesday said that those arrested included absconders and proclaimed offenders.

It said that during the period four encounters with criminals took place a gang of criminals was also smashed by the police.

In all, 10 pistols, two repeaters, a Kalashinkov, a dagger two mobile phones also recovered from the possession of the accused.

The police have registered cases against the accused and started investigation.
