LONDON: Royal Dutch Shell began to shut down an olefins cracker at its Moerdijk petrochemical plant in the Netherlands over the Easter weekend, a spokesman for the oil major said.
There are ongoing labour-related strikes by Dutch unions at the site. Unions had sought to disrupt the planned maintenance.
