Minister urges media houses to present positive image of Pakistan before world

KOHAT: Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi Thursday urged the media houses to play their due role in presenting the positive image of Pakistan before the world.

Talking to media, the minister said we have already put our house in order, now it’s a time for the world to change its perception about Pakistan.

He said tourists were welcomed in Pakistan and the process of issuance of visa was also made easier.

Paying tribute to the Pakistan armed forces he said, the peace has been restored in the country due to the sacrifices of the armed forces which they had rendered for their motherland.

Afridi said the purpose of merging FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was to bring tribal areas at par with other developed areas of the country and in that regard the incumbent government was paying special attention for their uplift.
