Campaign against electricity theft to continue

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Chief Executive Mujahid Islam Billah has said that electricity theft is a national crime and a campaign against power pilferers will continue in future also.

Fesco has so far detected 9,000 power theft cases in the region and cases have been registered against 1,900 pilferers besides making recovery of Rs. 176 million from them.

He said the campaign had proved very result-oriented due to support of the district administration and the Police Department.
