Levies, Khasadar forces to be merged with KP Police, announces CM Mahmood Khan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan announced on Monday the merger of the Levies and Khasadar forces into the provincial police force.

Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, the CM said that from this merger, 28,000 personnel belonging to both the forces will benefit. Vowing that no one will be rendered jobless, the CM said that the forces will be given all sorts of training, local media reported.

Khan also lauded the sacrifices of the Levies and Khasadar forces. The chief minister further said that the perks given to the KP Police will also be given to the newly merged Khasadar and Levies forces.
