ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court has sought a copy of reference from National Accountability Bureau pertaining to railway’s land, leased to Royal Palm Golf and Country Club and asked Railways Minister to appear in next hearing with preparations.

The Bench also permitted the Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed to give arguments in the case.

The Minister pleaded before the bench that the land lease case has been pending for last nine years and country’s asset is going to be destroyed.

The court adjourned hearing of the case till next Thursday.
