ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan Thursday said the country’s economic crisis has been successfully overcoming under the leadership of Imran Khan and the betterment of agriculture sector was the priority of the present government.
"We are facing economic crisis due to the poor economic policies of the previous governments and it is appreciable that PTI led government has managed to decrease trade deficit and increase exports within limited time," he said while talking to PTV news.
He said when PTI came into power the country was passing through financial crisis, adding that the government is trying its best to provide all possible relief to the masses.
The minister said concrete measures are being taken to provide loan and other facilities to farmers as agriculture sector was badly ignored in previous regimes.
Agriculture sector is a vital component of Pakistan’s economy, he said adding it helps removing poverty.
"We are determined to strengthen the national economy at any cost", he assured.
PTI-led government is committed to increase foreign and local investment in the country through introducing friendly policies and reforms.
The previous governments of PML-N and PPP were completely failed to stabilize the national economy, he criticized.
He further hailed the services of Finance Minister Asad Umer's efforts for the economic stability and said we put a huge burden on the shoulders of Asad Umer and he is trying its best for bringing improvement in previous government's wrong policies.
