KARACHI: One person was killed and other sustained injuries in different firing incidents in the metropolis on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, a 40-year-old man, Sahlh, son of Rasheed, was killed when unknown armed men open fire on his car in Defence Phas-7. The body was shifted to Ziauddin Hospital Clifton for medico-legal formalities.
Separately, unidentified men armed men shot and injured a 40-year-old police ASI, Mazher Abbas near UP Mor.He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the firing incidents and sought a detailed inquiry reports from Additional IG Karachi.The Chief Minister ordered investigation and early arrest of the accused involved in the incidents.
