ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Friday strongly condemned the assassination attempt on eminent religious scholar Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani in Karachi.

“I am deeply shocked at the brazenness of the attackers and hope the Sindh police is able to identify and arrest them”, he said in a tweet posted on his social media account.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the assassination attempt on Mufti Taqi Usmani, two of his guards were killed on Friday.
