ISLAMABAD: Minister Of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi Friday strongly condemned the firing incident on eminent religious scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani in Karachi.

He, in a statement, termed the attack as an attack on Pakistan’s peace.

He expressed gratitude that Mufti Usmani and his family remained unhurt in the incident and said enemies of the country wanted to create unrest in the country. He also prayed for the departed souls killed in the incident.
