KARACHI: Controller of Examinations, University of Karachi (KU), Dr. Irfan Aziz announced the result of MA Islamic Studies (Final) External Annual Examination-2017 on Thursday.
According to the gazette issued here, Hafiza Sumaiya Ilyas daughter of Muhammad Ilyas bearing seat number 433728 clinched first positing by securing 790 marks out of total 1000.
Sahar Fatima d/o Muhammad Ashraf having seat number 433864, bagged second position with 775 marks whereas Hafiza Aqsa Taufiq d/o Muhammad Taufiq Gul Muhammad seat number 433720 got third position by getting 773 marks.
As many as 639 candidates were registered of which 616 students appeared in the exams and 298 candidates cleared their papers with first division, 171 students managed to pass exams in second division and 147 candidates were declared failed.
