KARACHI: A four-member delegation from Illinois (USA) led by Dr. Murtaza Arain Tuesday called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the C.M. House here.
The delegation apprised the Chief Minister that the people of different areas of Pakistan, working in USA, are very much interested in investing in various schemes in Pakistan particularly in Sindh province.
The members of the delegation added that they intend to invest in the fields of health care, business opportunities and want to establish relations between Sindh and the State of Illinois (USA).
Chief Minister welcomed the delegation and stressed upon them to come forward and make investment in Sindh province where there are large opportunities of investment in fields of industries, agriculture, coal mining, and other fields.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that there are big opportunities of investment in the fields of power generation through coal, wind and solar energy.
The delegation assured the Sindh Chief Minister that they will convince other Pakistani investors.
The delegation included Kamran Khan, Choudhary Munir Akhtar, Sheeraz. Besides, Haneef Pathan and Syed Asad Ali Shah were also present.
