KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 22,495.78 points with a negative change of -221.69 and volume of 61,911,700 shares. High and Low were 22,717.47 and 22,479.26 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 2 were up, 27 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 94,392,770 shares. Total companies traded were 322 of which 78 were positive, 223 were negative and 21 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 10,315,500 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 9,900,500 shares.
