KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 22,874.48 points with a negative change of -20.66 and volume of 81,105,100 shares. High and Low were 22,994.19 and 22,716.78 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 12 were up, 18 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 123,619,400 shares. Total companies traded were 339 of which 138 were positive, 183 were negative and 18 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 32,919,210 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 23,421,400 shares.
