KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 21,836.57 points with a negative change of -242.99 and volume of 61,878,100 shares. High and Low were 22,079.70 and 21,800.01 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 3 were up, 27 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 92,773,020 shares. Total companies traded were 333 of which 96 were positive, 218 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,624,500 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 13,522,900 shares.
