Ukraine's grain exports have reached 39 million tonnes since the season began in July, down from around 43 million tonnes at the same point last season, the agriculture ministry said on Tuesday. So far in the 2017/18 season, which runs from July to June, Ukraine has exported 17 million tonnes of wheat, 17.6 million tonnes of maize and 4.2 million tonnes of barley, the ministry said in a statement.
Ukraine said it harvested 61.3 million tonnes of grain in calendar year 2017 down from a record 66 million in 2016.
