Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursday that summoning of Sharifs is pre-poll rigging which is raising doubts on free and fair elections.
Talking to media here on Thursday, Marriyum said that Nawaz Sharif has made about 100 appearances before the NAB and Khawaja Haris had already said that there are talks about charges but there is not single evidence against him. "There are a number of cases against others but only Nawaz Sharif and his associates are being summoned," he said, adding: "Only the Sharifs are being made accountable."
Criticizing Imran Khan, she said he (Imran) has ignored real PTI workers and awarded tickets to turncoats. He said Imran is forced to reside at Banni Gala under cover of Rangers and is not ready to face his workers. She said Imran has not delivered in the KPK and cannot face people. On July 25, people will hold Imran accountable for his misdeeds as he is reaping what he had sown, she said.
Marriyum said those who are talking about putting the name of Nawaz and Maryam on the Exit Control List (ECL) took a "Ladla" to Saudi Arabia despite the fact his name was in the black list.
Expressing gratitude to the Pakistani nation for praying health of ailing Kulsoom Nawaz, she said Kulsoom played historic role against a dictator. She, however, expressed regret over remarks of Aitzaz Ahsan regarding Kulsoom Nawaz ailment.
Marriyum said massive reshuffle was made only in Punjab and Sindh while no transfers were made in the KPK. She said the PML-N is set to launch its election campaign that would focus on development agenda and performance of the PML-N.
