The workers of JUI-F have revolted against the provincial ameer of their own political party and religio-political alliance MMA, Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan for nominating himself as candidate from NA-8, Malakand. He belongs to NA-7, Dir Lower.
The JUI-F workers have demanded the fielding of local candidate from their National Assembly constituency. Otherwise, instead of supporting Gul Naseeb Khan, they threatened to choose their own line of action.
These views were expressed by senior JUI-F members during an Eid Milan Party organized at the residence of district senior naib ameer, Malakand, Shams-ul-Haq.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Shams-ul-Haq, Mohammad Ameen, Mufti Farid Khan, Fazale Raziq, Fazale Khaliq, Hazrat Gul and others said that the ticket distribution formula, the National Assembly constituency of Malakand has been given to JUI-F, but the provincial leadership is snatching this right from the local candidates, which is not merely an insult of the local workers, but can also impacts bad repercussion to affect the party position across the province.
They demanded of the provincial ameer Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan to review his decision and get awareness of the political history of the district.
The JUI-F workers said that political and electoral environment in Malakand is favourable for JUI-F. However, wrong decisions taken by the leadership can become beneficial for the opponents. They warned that in case of ignoring of the opinion of the party workers they will prepare future strategy.
They threatened that they can field senior worker and eminent religious cleric, Maulana Shams-ul-Haq as candidate. On this occasion, district, tehsil and Union Councils' level office bearers recommended the name of Maulana Shams-ul-Haq and announced boycotting of the elections activities of the candidate imposed from outside the constituency.
