Caretaker Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Muhammad Yusuf Shaikh has been given additional charge of Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication. Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan former Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk inducted Muhammad Yusuf Shaikh in the cabinet and he had sworn in as caretaker federal minister for education and professional training.
According to a notification, the prime minister in terms of rule 3(4) of the Rules of Business, 1973, has been pleased to assign with immediate effect, the additional portfolios to the federal minister. According to the notification, Shaikh has been allotted five additional portfolios. These include Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination; Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony; Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication; Ministry of Science and Technology, and; Ministry of Climate Change.
