The Punjab government will extend full support to the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for setting up violence against women centres there, spokesman Punjab government Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, said. The Punjab Chief Minister is desirous of seeing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other provinces fully developed and prosperous, the spokesman said, adding: "All necessary information will be shared with the KPK government."
The spokesman further said that the Punjab government is following the policy of promoting collaboration with federating units and all provinces have equal share in the fruits of development process in Punjab. "Shahbaz Sharif wants to see people of KPK prosperous, happy and in better conditions," he added. It may be added here that women empowerment department of KPK requested for PC-1 for setting up violence against women centres.
