KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that political demagogues including political and religio-political parties are once again in run for the general elections of 2018.
He was addressing at political gatherings in Nowshera Cantonment, Mohib Banda and Speen Kandre, district Nowshera. On this occasion, Nazim, Village Council, Mohib Banda, Imran Khan, Bakhtiar Khan, Ayaz Khan, Shaukat Khan, Qaiser Khan, Jan Alam, president, Nanbai Association, Abdul Haleem, Raja Saeed, Kamran Qureshi, Riaz, Sheheryar along with dozens of associates quit ANP and announced joining of PTI after expressing confidence in the leadership of Imran and Khan and KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
The chief minister said those demagogues in past had cheated the people in the name of Pakhtun nationalism, religion, Roti, Kapra aur Makan and Quaid-e-Azam and in fact all those amenities from the electorates. He further alleged those political parties after coming into power looted the public exchequer and siphoned the national resources. However, he said that era of turns had passed and now no one would hoodwink the people in the names of teachers, patwari, doctor and police.
Khattak said the corruption of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had been proved and now was near arrest. "But, on arrest, will say that why he has been arrested." He said poverty, hunger and unemployment are not the fate of poor, saying the country needs honest leadership, which is available in the shape of PTI Chief Imran Khan.
The chief minister said Imran Khan will be the next prime minister and PTI after winning general elections will form governments in all four provinces as well as in the Centre. He said people have now become politically mature and will not be cheated by these demagogues.
