Chicago Board of Trade soyabean futures rose on Tuesday on spillover strength from a surging soyameal market, traders said. Concerns that dry conditions in Argentina will limit the size of the harvest there and eat into the country's export program for both soyameal and soyaoil underpinned futures prices.
Soyameal futures, which hit contract highs across the board, have risen for six days in a row. The most-active contract peaked at its highest since July 18, 2016 but closed well below session highs.
