The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Friday that negative attitude of the people doing falsehood politics, anarchy and allegations, has pernicious effect on democracy and the democratic institutions. "Enough is enough, now the sit-in group will not be allowed to play with the destiny of the country," Shahbaz said, adding, "An effort was made to hit the journey of national development through plunder, sit-ins and lockdown and even the national interest was jeopardized. In the backdrop of ongoing international situation, Pakistan cannot tolerate negative politics any way."
He said the elements engaged in politics of criticism should fully understand that country makes progress when practical steps are taken with the commitment of public service. The elements opposing the development projects aimed at public welfare have lost respect in the eyes of the people and the vision of PML-N government is public service.
Shahbaz maintained that the defeated political elements should realize facts.
He lamented that past rulers left no stone unturned to plunder in their tenure and added that persons looting the national resources mercilessly by expanding their network of corruption could not be loyal to the nation.
He further said that whenever Pakistan Muslim League-N came into power, it did the politics of public welfare and national development. Due to our sincere efforts and untiring hard work, the country has moved towards development and prosperity today and the quality of life of the people is much better than before. A mammoth public mandate will be won by the PML-N in the elections of 2018, he claimed.
Moreover, Shahbaz Sharif has expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of Senator Saifullah Bangash. While condoling with the bereaved family in his message, he prayed that may Allah Almighty bless the departed soul with eternal peace and give patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
