Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has constituted a committee to investigate the incident of cylinder explosion in District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Attock. This committee will finalize its recommendations in 72 hours and submit the same to the Chief Minister. Chairman CMIT will head the committee consisting of Provincial Secretary Primary & Secondary Health, Commissioner and RPO Rawalpindi division.
This committee will identify the reasons by inspecting the place of the incident and will also identify responsibility of the concerned officials in case any negligence is established. Moreover, Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of Lahore Press Club.
In his message of felicitations, he felicitated the newly elected President Azam Chaudhry and other members and hoped that they would continue to play their role in promotion of responsible journalism and further strengthening of government-media relations.
