Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting here Tuesday to review progress on different matters pertaining to Khadim-e-Punjab Saaf Pani Program. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the program of providing clean drinking water is a mega initiative of public interest and therefore, there is a dire need to move this program forward in an organized and professional manner.
He said the program was delayed in the past and was disrupted due to some elements, but the delay has to be rectified by working speedily now. He said success is achieved if one is sincere in providing best services to the people. Chief Secretary, Chairman Saaf Pani Company South Ch. Arif Saeed, Chairman P&D, Secretary Housing and concerned officials attended the meeting.
