Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has reportedly been relieved from his duties with the approval of his three months leave by the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. Two notifications were issued by the Cabinet Division in this regard. First notification issued by the Cabinet Division stated that Prime Minister has been pleased to allow leave of absence to Finance Minster Dar with immediate effect in terms of the sub-section (1) of sub section 17 of the federal minister and minister of State (salaries and privileges)Act 1975.
The second notification stated that in terms of rules 3 (4) of Rules and Business, 1973, the Prime Minister has been pleased to withdraw the entry at serial number 7 of the table at para 1 of the Cabinet Division's notification of even number dated August 4, 2017 with immediate effect. At serial number 7, Finance Minister's name and portfolio is mentioned.
