RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 22,667.62 points with a negative change of -34.83 and volume of 72,362,200 shares. High and Low were 22,748.26 and 22,583.66 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 13 were up, 16 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 123,569,390 shares. Total companies traded were 346 of which 159 were positive, 163 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 29,436,350 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 17,193,510 shares.
