RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 23,020 points with a positive change of 38.21 and volume of 118,030,900 shares. High and Low were 23,061.34 and 22,700.50 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 15 were up, 15 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 177,169,377 shares. Total companies traded were 362 of which 159 were positive, 179 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 38,663,450 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 27,522,600 shares.
