KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 22,989.33 points with a positive change of 486.95 and volume of 191,416,300 shares. High and Low were 23,006.02 and 22,501.54 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 30 were up, 0 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 276,929,910 shares. Total companies traded were 375 of which 284 were positive, 75 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 48,249,750 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 45,978,500 shares.
