Major-General Azhar Saleh promoted

In a major reshuffle, Major General Azhar Saleh Abbasi has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant general and appointed as Corps Commander Mangla with immediate effect. According to ISPR, Lieutenant General Umar Farooq Durrani has been appointed as Chairman Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF). He has replaced Lieutenant General Omar Mahmood Hayat. Lieutenant General Omar Mahmood Hayat has been posted as Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
