RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 22,047.28 points with a positive change of 350.47 and volume of 230,120,300 shares. High and Low were 22,346.98 and 21,696.81 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 22 were up, 7 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 343,852,370 shares. Total companies traded were 406 of which 226 were positive, 164 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 59,343,950 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 50,876,620 shares.
