The provincial selection board has decided to promote 150 women assistant professors (BS-18) working in various women colleges and public sector universities to associate professors (BS-19). All these women professors belong to the general cadre of Higher Education Department, Punjab.
The decision was taken in the 31st meeting of the provincial selection board-II held here on Thursday at the Civil Secretariat. Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Shamail Ahmad Khawaja presided over the meeting. Those who participated in the meeting include Secretary Services Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Secretary Regulations Dr Muhammad Saleh Tahir, Secretary PMDD Nadim Irshad Kayani, Special Secretary HED Tahir Yousaf and other senior officers.
