Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has resented the removal of posters, hoarding, and banners of the party, hoisted in different parts of the city for its upcoming International conference 'Ijtima' in Azakhel, and termed it as an attempt of PTI led provincial government to prove the 'ulema' gathering as an unsuccessful event.
Addressing a news conference at press club here on Wednesday, JUI-F district ameer, Maulana Khairul Bashr said that his party is going to organize a three day international conference from April 7 in Azakhel, district Nowshera. He said posters and hoardings were hoisted in this regard in various areas of city but the district administration had removed them all under the pretext that these hoardings might fall off in windy conditions and could be potentially hazardous for people.
Flanked by JUI-F leaders, Maulana Amanullah Haqqani, Haji Ghulam Ali, Haji Jalil Jan, and others, he said that PTI led provincial government is afraid of JUI-F and employing tactics to prove that the 'Ulema Ijtima' is going to be a flop show. He asked the authorities to immediately replace the signboards and warned that if the sign boards and banners were no replaced, they would be left with no choice other than taking extreme action.
He asserted they had tried to resolve the matter peacefully through dialogue but the provincial government has turned its deaf ear to their concerns. He accused that PTI is following Jewish agenda and committed to promoting vulgarity and obscenity which was displayed in their prolonged 'sit-in' in Islamabad. He vowed that JUI-F will foil all nefarious designs of agents of Jews.
Ghulam Ali said the provincial government could not digest the growing popularity of JUI-F in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that people of KP had rejected the agenda of vulgarity and obscenity. He further said that PTI graph has been on decline and claimed that JUI-F will form its government with support of youth and general masses in the province. Khairul Bashr said eminent religious scholars around the world and Imam-e-Kaba would participate in the 'Ulema Ijtima'.
