National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Multan has authorized investigation against former MPA / Nazim Malik Muhammad Rafiq Khan who is a nephew of former Punjab Governor Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar for fraudulent allotment of 4622 kanal of state land and 1000 kanal of private land in Kot Adu sub-division.
According to NAB press release issued here on Tuesday evening. An investigation was initiated on the allegations of misappropriation and illegal allotment of state land measuring 4622 Kanal in favor of his sons and associates. The accused managed this illegal allotment with the connivance of Revenue officers / officials through bogus evacuee claims in Tehsil Kot Adu in Muzaffargarh district.
The officers /officials of Revenue department Ghulam Akbar Khan Khich Ex-EDO (Revenue) and other co-accused facilitated persons of this department who had facilitated the accused in illegal allotment of state Land ie-4622 kanal of Land. Furthermore, illegalities are observed in transfer of 1000 kanals of private land in Mouza Shadi Khan Munda in connivance with Revenue officials through fraud and forgery of concerned revenue staff in Land record. Besides Thal Development Authority (TDA) land was unlawfully returned back.
Meanwhile National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Multan has initiated an inquiry against an accused Waqas Arshad into his involvement in cheating the General Public in the guise of investment in Singapore, EFI Insurance Company and London Stock Exchange and collecting millions of rupees in Kabirwala. According to details provided by NAB Multan, Several complaints were received leveling the allegations of cheating the public at large. Then NAB summoned the accused Waqas Arshad to join the investigation.
