President and Founder of CEO Clubs Worldwide, USA, Dr Joseph Mancuso, along with his 15-member delegation of different Chapters of the world, visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) for exploring and getting essence of opportunities of mutual co-operation.
Speaking to the FPCCI office-bearers, Dr Joseph Mancuso briefed about the CEO Clubs Worldwide and said it is a non-profit organisation which creates a nurturing environment for CEOs dedicated to improving the quality and profitability of their enterprises through shared experience and personal growth.
The founder of the Chinese Chapter and winner of the CEO Clubs lifetime achievement award, JP LI said China and Pakistan have strong bilateral relations. "The Pakistani people are best hosts. It is my first visit to Pakistan that I have found very safe and beautiful."
He said China was the first Chapter and now they have more than 20,000 members, so growth of business depends on promotion, promotion and promotion. Chairperson Pakistan Chapter Muhammad Ijaz said: "This chapter will enhance business networking nationally and internationally with the priorities to build soft image of the country, bring foreign investment and invite more than 300 international speakers to the country for brainstorming. We will provide unparalleled opportunities to CEOs and business icons of Pakistan to interact and build connections with global leaders with a view to discover new business opportunities around the world," he added.
Vice President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Iftikhar Ali Malik said the economic development of a country is dependent on growth of businesses while South Asian countries should promote their trade network. Pakistan is going to be the future of the world because economic corridor is not only the road to economic prosperity of Pakistan; it can be termed as future of the world. It is estimated that more than three billion people from China, South Asia and Central Asia would be benefited from the economic corridor, he added. FPCCI regional chairman Manzoorul Haq Malik also spoke on the occasion.
