Incidents of kidnapping and murder have witnessed an increase in federal capital as six cases of abduction and three cases of murder reported to city's various police stations during last week. According to data gathered by Business Recorder, the city's various police stations registered six cases of auto theft, four cases of robbery and burglary, six cases of kidnapping, three cases of murder and 11 cases of cheque dishonouring.
During the period, the most favourite areas for criminal gangs were within the limits of Bhara Kahu, Sabzi Mandi, Lohi Bheer and Karachi Company police stations. Bhara Kahu police station registered two cases each of kidnapping and one case each of auto theft and robbery. Nisar Ahmad lodged a complaint with Bhara Kahu police station that unknown muggers stole gold ornaments from his house. Auto theft stole a bike (ABN-585) parked in front of his house.
Syed Jamil Hussain informed Bhara Kahu police station that unknown people kidnapped his uncle Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah. Syed Mehmood lodged a complaint with Bhara Kahu police station that unidentified people abducted his guest namely Syed Jawad Hussain Shah.
In the period under review, Sabzi Mandi police registered two cases of motor vehicle theft and one case of cheque dishonoring. Carjackers stole a bike (ACR-446) of Akramullahm and lifted a car bearing registration number KV-018 of Muhammad Sabzir from sector I-10/1. Lohi Bheer police station registered one case each of murder and robbery. Syed Rehman Shah registered a complaint with Lohi Bheer police station that unknown people shot dead his son Saqib Hussain.
Another Zulfiqar Haider lodged a complaint with Lohi Bheer police station that unknown people stole gold ornaments and other valuables form his house. During the last week, Karachi Company police station registered one case each of robbery, cheque dishonouring and auto theft. Auto thieves lifted a car of Muhammad Arif bearing registration number JKC -4211 parked in front of his house.
Muhammad Maqsood registered a complaint with Karachi Company police station that two armed robbers snatched his mobile, purse and car from him when was his way home. The armed robbers attacked him when he was listing a phone call, he told police. Shehzad Town police recovered the dead body of an unidentified person shot dead by unknown people. During the period under review, Aabpara, Industrial Area and Noon police stations registered one case each of kidnapping.
