Chief Executive Officer Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) S M Muneer on Saturday inaugurated newly constructed auditorium of Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PSGMEA). A large number of businessmen, journalists and members of the civil society attended the inaugural ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion he stressed upon the business community of Sialkot that they should focus attention on enhancing the export volume which is direly needed at this juncture. Muneer pointed out that decline in the export of the country was the result of global recession and we are making adequate efforts to overcome the problem.
It is heartening to note that business community of Sialkot was making strenuous efforts to fulfill its international commitments despite certain problems and earning foreign exchange for the country, he added.
He underscored the need of exploring non-traditional markets for introducing Pakistani products adding that T.D.A.P will extend its full support and cooperation to the business community in this regard. He was of the view that participation in trade fairs and exhibitions is vital not only for enhancing the export volume but also supportive in developing B2B interaction.
