The Daewoo Bus Service terminal was shifted outside the city to Thokar Niaz Baig from Kalma Square for two days in order to hold Pakistan Super League (PSL). The sudden and unexpected shift of the terminal created a bothering and wearisome situation for the passengers and their relatives, as majority of them complained that they were not informed in time about the shift.
Especially, many passengers said they had missed their buses due to the lack of information and irresponsible behaviour on part of the company as well as Punjab government. In addition, many relatives of the passengers coming from outside Lahore also panicked, as they were of the same view that no one had informed them about the shifting of the terminal. The law enforcement agencies are of the view that the step was taken due to security reasons, as the bus terminal is almost next to the Qaddafi Stadium and falls within the limits of the area cordoned off for holing the final of PSL in the city.
