Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that quality education bears inevitable role towards development and prosperity of any society. Therefore, he added, the education system needs to be strengthened in line with the present age and indeed the government is taking steps accordingly.
He was talking after presiding over the Board of Governors of the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) at its premises at Hayatabad on Tuesday. The Secretary Higher Education, Vice Chancellor, Khyber Medical University besides the Director, Institute of Management Sciences and other members of the board were present on this occasion.
The BoG of the Institute was briefed in detail on working of the institution. The Board unanimously approved four years extension in the services of Dr Muhammad Mohsin as Director of IM Sciences. Eng Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said the students were our precious national asset, who are supposed to play an incredible role towards development and stability of our country. The educational institutions, he added, are responsible to equally focus upon extra-ordinary activities alongside fully materialising the curricular requirements for ensuring proper nourishment of the students. He also appreciated the services which Dr Muhammad Mohsin has been rendering for the institution.
