Mohammad Raza Baqir, a seasoned senior government official, has joined Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) as Executive Director with effect from January 03, 2017.
He has over 35 years rich experience of working in FBR, National School of Public Policy, Intellectual Property Organisation, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Law and Justice.
His last assignment was as Accountant Member, Appellate Tribunal, Inland Revenue FBR. His major assignments included Member (Inland Revenue) and Member (Admin) FBR; Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Gujranwala; Counsel General of Pakistan at Sydney Australia, Commercial Counsellor Copenhagen/Stockholm, Collector of Customs, Sales Tax & Federal Excise Lahore, Gujranwala/Sialkot and Executive Director Intellectual Property Organisation.
