The helmet-wearing rule that was made compulsory for bikers in Karachi ended on Thursday with the appointment of new Traffic Deputy Inspector General (DIG). According to details, former DIG Amir Shaikh had made helmet-wearing mandatory for bikers in Karachi last year, but since the new DIG Asif Aijaz has taken charge, implementation on this rule has finished as well.
