ANF captured mega consignments of drugs weighing 6.2 Ton including 1.77 Ton Amphetamine, 4.37 Ton Opium and 5 Kg Hashish and arrested 6 persons, including a proclaimed offender, in six countrywide operations. The seized drugs valued Rs 9.7 Billion in International Market.
ANF Quetta while carrying out an intelligence based operation seized 1773 Kg Amphetamine and 4374 Kg Opium from District Noshki. According to details, drug consignments were concealed at an uninhabited site situated in the area of Waliband Sarlath, Tehsil & District Noshki. As per preliminary reports, the seized drug consignments were intended to be transported to some unidentified location after being handed over to another narcotics gang.
ANF Rawalpindi arrested a local drug peddler identified as Shoukat Hayat resident of Attock and recovered 1.5 Kg Hashish from his personal possession. He was arrested from Shakardar Chowk, Mohallah Noor, Basal Road, District Attock.
ANF Lahore arrested a drug peddler namely Javed alias Jaida Kungi resident of Sialkot and recovered 250 grams Heroin from his possession. He was arrested from Punjab College Bus Stop, Wazirabad Road, Sialkot.-PR
