Federal Shariat Court (FSC) has decided to conduct hearing of petitions seeking an end to interest-based financial system from Pakistan on daily basis. A four-member bench headed by chief justice of the top Islamic court Riaz Ahmad resumed proceedings into case. The FSC directed all litigants to inform top Islamic court about their lawyers' turn of arguments after mutual consultation.
While extolling stance of the federal government, the FSC CJ remarked that case has been pending for a long while.
"We have decided to conduct hearing of this case on daily basis and we will hear arguments of other petitioner if counsel of one petitioner is busy at time of his turn," stated Riaz Ahmad.
