On Monday, BRIndex30 opened at 27,739.81 points and remained positive throughout the trading session. It touched an intraday high of 28,675.48 points and an intraday low of 27,739.81 points and closed at 28,540.31 points which was 800.5 points or 2.89 percent higher than previous close. Total volume was 429,764,000, which was 71.58 percent of KSE All share volume and 123.09 percent of KSE 100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 600,370,600 and KSE 100 volume was 349,132,130.

BR Cement Index closed at 8,974.35 points with a net positive change of 32.78 points or a percentage change of 0.37 and a total turnover of 23,595,100 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 4,949.79 points with a net positive change of 47.05 points or a percentage change of 0.96 and a total turnover of 20,723,990 shares.
BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 1,611.44 points with a net positive change of 14.75 points or a percentage change of 0.92 and a total turnover of 39,463,500 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 8,843.96 points with a net positive change of 300.32 points or a percentage change of 3.52 and a total turnover of 245,974,600 shares.
