That General Qamar Javed Bajwa talked tough at the Line of Control (LoC) during his first visit to the so-called 'de facto' border is a fact that has found its best expression from his remarks that he made on the forward locations of the LoC.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa spent his day visiting Headquarters 10 Corps Rawalpindi and troops on forward locations on the LoC. He was briefed in detail about the prevailing security situation at LoC in view of recent violations and escalation by Indian troops and own response.
Appreciating troops for their operational readiness and befitting response given to unprovoked Indian firing in violation of ceasefire agreement, the CoAS directed them to keep the highest level of vigil at all times.
Each violation of any kind must be responded with full force in the most effective manner, according to him.The Narendra Modi government must not, therefore, lose sight of the fact that Pakistani troops have the required ability, capacity and dexterity to respond to each and every belligerent act of New Delhi. No doubt, Pakistan's army is world's best army.
