KP mineral sector: 128 Companies submits on-line application for investment

About 128 companies have submitted on-line applications for investment in mineral sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while in these nine companies have shown their keenness in large scale mining exploration in the province.
It is worth mentioning that in a short span of one month from 1st November till November 28, thousands of individual investors and different companies have applied for procuring lease licenses for different minerals and in the coming month of December, scrutiny of all the companies as well as individual investors would be completed and lease licenses would be allotted to them in January 2017. The Spokesman of Mineral Department said approximately 622 investors had online applied and 310 investors submitted their hard documents and the Minerals Titled Committee (MTC) would grant lease licenses in January next year.
