Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Monday announced to observe three-day mourning on the death of party's senior leader and former Secretary General Jehangir Badar. Also, the PPP has cancelled all party engagements scheduled during the three days. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed pain over the sad demise of Badar and paid him glowing tributes for his unshakable loyalty, commitment and conviction to Bhuttoism for his whole life.
Bilawal said that Jehangir Badar was a Jiyala par excellence who fought against ruthless martial law from the forefront, braved imprisonments and torture but stood steadfast and committed to Bhuttoism under Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and entire decades of party's struggle till to date. PPP Chairman in a statement announced that the party will observe three-day mourning over the sad demise of Jehangir Badar all over the country. He also expressed sympathy with the members of bereaved family.
