KARACHI: Gold slipped by Rs 257 to close at Rs 49,800 per 10 grams in the local market Monday as its international price dropped to $ 1,721 an ounce, market sources said.
According to the Karachi Saraf Association officials, tola (11.664 grams) price also dipped by Rs 300 to close at Rs 58,100.
Silver closed higher at Rs 925.71 per 10 grams.
