KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 21,518.86 points with a negative change of -178.72 and volume of 76,989,400 shares. High and Low were 21,719.24 and 21,221.22 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 4 were up, 26 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 149,352,810 shares. Total companies traded were 369 of which 112 were positive, 240 were negative and 17 were unchanged.

Real Estate Investment Trust was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 22,074,500 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 19,326,050 shares.
