PM Imran Khan visits GHQ, gets security briefing

Prime Minister Imran Khan visited on Thursday General Headquarters (GHQ) where he was briefed on professional matters.
According to a Tweet by the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, the PM was received by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Minister of Defence Pervez Khattak, Minister of Finance Asad Umar, Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry accompanied PM Khan.
During the meeting at the GHQ, PM Khan was briefed on defence, internal security and other professional matters.

Earlier this week, the COAS visited the prime minister at the PM House. The two discussed the issues of national security and exchanged views regarding the prevailing condition of the country. Moreover, ways of maintaining peace and prosperity in the country were also discussed in the meeting.
